On Thursday, November 21st, Bishop McNamara High School hosted its annual Scholarship Breakfast in the Andy Mona ‘82 Student Center. Each year, the Scholarship Breakfast allows Bishop McNamara High School to thank its many generous benefactors who support our students through scholarship giving. Their involvement in Bishop McNamara’s scholarship programs makes a powerful, lasting difference to our students and to the trajectory of their young lives.
Their belief in our students has a transformational impact that extends well beyond this campus. The ripple effects of their participation as a member of the Bishop McNamara family is an investment in their future - and in the future of our entire community.
Keynote student addresses this year were delivered by members of the Class of 2020 - Paris Brown and Ahmad Young - who gave powerful testimonies about the benefits of a Bishop McNamara education and displayed to everyone present that they are empowered leaders, inspired by the Gospel, who transform the world.
We hope those who were present enjoyed meeting, hearing from and learning more about the students who are able to call Bishop McNamara "home" because of their generous support. We hope everyone involved felt inspired by the positive change our generous benefactors are making in the next generation.
In all, Bishop McNamara High School is deeply grateful for all our benefactors as they help us to achieve our mission to educate hearts and minds in a dynamic, inclusive Catholic school community rooted in the Holy Cross tradition.
