On May 24th at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC, the Bishop McNamara High School Class of 2019 graduated and became the newest class of BMHS alumni.
Honors Biology classes and the Science & Ecology Explorers Club at Bishop McNamara experience Science and Ecology studies through field trips on the Chesapeake Bay and virtual field trips to the Antarctic.  
Help us celebrate the Varsity and JV Cheerleading squads - a special group of ladies who are enthusiastically leading the Mustang crowds at games and school functions while competing across the country with their precision routines and gymnastics.
Carlos Saravia '19 talks candidly about his journey through school, and how classes at BMHS helped him learn more about his culture and grow in understanding himself.

The Bishop McNamara High School Project PRIDE Program, established in 1999 as an admissions inclusion program, celebrated its twenty year anniversary with a special celebration dinner and awards presentation on Thursday, May 9 in the Andy Mona '82 Student Center.

On April 14, 2019, a group of 13 Bishop McNamara High School students and two teachers departed to Spain to finish the second part of the Spain Exchange program with Paz de Ziganda Ikastola in Pamplona.
On Friday, May 10th, Mr. M. ChrisTopher Williams celebrated his last day of class with his seniors in Global Studies along with many members of the Bishop McNamara administration and faculty as he retires after forty years of teaching, thirty-six of them here at Bishop McNamara High School.
