Mother Daughter Brunch - Save the Date: Tickets are on sale today Friday, Feb 1st until March 1, 2019.  Make sure to purchase your tickets to the 12th Annual Mother Daughter Brunch on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the College Park Marriott from 10AM to 2PM soon as tickets will go fast. The Mother Daughter Brunch is a special day to bond and celebrate our phenomenal daughters. This invitation is extended to ALL female students. In addition, there will be a very special recognition ceremony within the program for our Seniors. Here is what you should know: Seniors are required to wear ALL WHITE on the day of the event and arrive no later than 9:30AM at the College Park Marriott Hotel  & Conference Center. Please send a baby picture and a current picture of your Senior or general questions to motherdaughterbrunch@bmhs.org no later than Friday, March 1, 2019. Freshman & Sophomore Students:  Students interested in applying for Honors Western Civilization, AP European History, or AP US History, there will be a brief info meeting Tuesday Feb. 5 during Prime Time. Please meet in RM 214 at 11:50 am to discuss your interest in taking these courses.

Hello everyone! We have the chance for 8 or 9 students to attend a special event at the National Geographic headquarters in DC on Feb 11.  The event (on International Day of Women and Girls  in Science!) features 4 women in science including a linguistic anthropologist and a stand-up comic/scientist.  Please see Ms. Steeger in Room 203 for a permission slip and more information. The cost of the event is $25.

The Service Project at St Thomas Moore with Ms. Bell has been postponed until February 15. Check your email.

The Wrestling Team competed at the WCAC championships this past weekend. The Mustangs took 5th place overall with Senior Morgan Bernard and Juniors Tyreece Burton and Xavier Locke all taking 3rd place and Senior Michael Scott and Freshman Sirr bannister both placing 2nd.
