Bishop McNamara High School senior members of the Varsity Football team organized a Toy Drive before the Christmas break hoping to uplift and bring cheer to patients at the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Under the direction of Coach Keita Malloy (shown here in the Santa hat), the student athletes set up collection points throughout the School and solicited donations for toys around campus and throughout the community.
"We want to thank the BMHS Community for their support and especially the players for their efforts to make this a success," Coach Malloy shared. "And a special thanks to Children's Hospital for their hospitality," he added.
Coach Malloy and the players are asking the community for their continued prayers for those who need healing or just some uplifting during those times of need.
Thank you to the BMHS Mustang Football Nation for so generously giving back to the community and to these young people in need.
