On Monday, December 10, 2018, the Enrichment Zone! hosted a Graduation Showcase honoring 17 BMHS students who participated in and completed the Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program. This 8-week program taught leadership skills and public speaking. The Enrichment Zone! expresses sincere thanks to St. Margaret's Achievers Toastmasters Club for sponsoring the Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program at our school. We extend a special thank you to Jennifer Ferguson, DTM; Gail Carter, ACS, ALB; Pleshette Monroe, TM; and LaMonica Nelson, ACS, ALS, for their unwavering commitment to our students. Despite inclement weather and heavy traffic, these Toastmasters volunteered their time and talents each Monday afternoon for many weeks to guide our students through public speaking and leadership skills; they always came with a smile, made it a point to get to know our students, and imparted positive lessons that will benefit our students throughout their lives. Words cannot express how much we appreciate the generosity extended to us by the YLP leaders.
