Bishop McNamara High School 1989 alumnus and best-selling author of the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series, Jeff Kinney, has begun a tour to introduce his newest book The Meltdown. He will visit U.S. and European cities, including the University of the District of Columbia Theater of the Arts on Sunday, November 4th at 5:00 p.m. at 4200 Connecticut Avenue in Northwest in Washington, DC. Along with his talk and book signings, Jeff is also putting on a show called the Countdown to The Meltdown! In Celebration of the launch of Diary of a Wimpy Kid #13.

Where: University of the District of Columbia Theater of the Arts, 4200 Connecticut Avenue in Northwest Washington.
How much: $22 includes admission, a book and a photo with the author; free companion ticket for parent or kid 5 and younger.
