Teachers in the Washington Archdiocese attended the Opening of Schools Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. on August 28th. Members of the Bishop McNamara High School faculty were in attendance and received recognition for their years of devotion to Catholic education.
Presented with honors for their years of dedicated service to Catholic education were Mr. Paul O'Brien for his 25 years and Mrs. Mary Mitchell-Donahue for her 35 years. Also recognized but not in attendance were Anthony Johnson and Patricia Imes for their 25 years in Catholic education.
Our congratulations to these educators devoted to not only Catholic education but devoted to the education of our students at Bishop McNamara High School.
