Ms. Amanda Saunders, Assistant Director of Campus MinistryMs. Amanda Saunders, Assistant Director of Campus Ministry, published an article for the United States Catholic Mission Assembly titled, "A Vessel for God: Eucharist and Mission."  The article focuses on the gift of the Eucharist within the Catholic tradition and why it remains the ultimate display of God's love for humanity, For the full article, go to United State Catholic Mission Assembly -A Vessel for God: Eucharist and Mission.

As she notes in the article, "We are loved without judgment. We are loved with hope. Hope that we might grow to be better, hope that we will choose to say 'Yes!' more to this relationship, and hope that we will bring the energy surrounding that 'Yes!' to those around us."

As Assistant Director of Campus Ministry, she, along with Director of Campus Ministry Mr. Peter Sanneman and Administrative Assistant to Campus Ministry Ms. Sandra Herndon, strives to carry out the vision of the founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Blessed Father Basil Moreau, C.S.C. "to make God known, loved, and served". Together, they strive to enrich the spiritual life of our students through retreat programs, school-wide liturgies and other forms of prayer, and through the Holy Cross Service Program, which Ms. Saunders directs, to challenge students to serve God by helping the poor and marginalized among our fellow children of God.

We thank Ms. Saunders, and the entire Campus Ministry Team, for being outstanding witnesses and leaders in furthering our vision to form empowered leaders, inspired by the Gospel, who transform the world.
