Retreats

The retreat program is designed to provide opportunities for spiritual formation that are appropriate to the developmental level of the students and challenge them to deepen their commitments to faith, compassion and justice.

Students enjoy visiting a remote location for their Retreats.

The Freshman Retreat is a part of the Freshman orientation process and focuses on introducing students to the Bishop McNamara Holy Cross heritage and our values of faith, family, and diversity.

The Sophomore Retreat is an off-campus retreat in which students will focus on the pillar of "building respect" and exploring their identities as people and as a member of our larger community

The Junior Retreat is called Kairos which is a 3-day, 2-night opportunity to literally retreat (“get away”) from everyday life in order to focus on their personal relationship with God, with themselves, and with others.

The Senior Retreat provides an opportunity for the entire class to come together on a day-long retreat so that students can reflect on the people they are becoming and discern more clearly their future beyond BMHS as bringers of Hope.
