 Participation in the Enrichment Zone! is mandatory

unless they are otherwise involved in a club or sport. 

EZ! is an afternoon, extended-day program designed to provide an exciting, interactive, dynamic, and fun environment for students from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM 

 

No charge for students picked-up by 6 PM!

Late Fee of $2 per minute charged to students picked-up after 6 PM.

  • Families are required to perform 10 hours of volunteer service each school year. 
  • A $40 fee is applied for each service hour not completed. 
  • This is considered a financial obligation to the school.
  • Service hours do not carry over from one year to the next.

  • All students are required to take the Math placement exam and have the option of taking the Science and Modern/Classical Language exams.

  • The BMHS Handbook states: "Students whose tuition is not up-to-date will not be allowed to attend overnight field trips."
  • Applies to all school trips ~ class related, fine arts, sports, service projects, etc.

  • Students with outstanding tuition obligations will not be permitted to take final exams.
  • Students may not take more than 2 exams per day. 
  • Students will receive a failing grade for any exam not completed within five working days from the date of the last normally scheduled exam.
  • BMHS reserves the right to revoke the 2019-2020 registration of a student whose tuition account is not current.
  • BMHS is not obligated to hold spaces for the upcoming school year for students whose financial obligations have not been satisfied.

2019-2020 Scheduling Process

  • Student course selections were posted to Maccess in March.
  • Please review selections for errors and have your student meet with his/her counselor to make any changes.
  • Students should work with their rising grade level counselor for all 2019-2020 scheduling needs.

Nurse's Notes

When your student is sick, please keep them home when they:

  • complain about feeling hot and cold
  • are extremely tired and have body aches
  • are vomiting or have diarrhea
  • have a distracting pain from a headache, ear ache, sore throat or recent injury
  • have yellow or green drainage from their eye

 Students with a fever need to stay home until they are fever free

for 24 hours without the use of Tylenol or Ibuprofen.

Holy Cross Service

All Service Deadlines have passed.  

  • Any student who did not complete the required number of hours by the deadline was given a time extension plus the requirement of an additional 5 hours.  
  • For this extension, all service hours for freshmen, sophomores and juniors must be submitted by May 7th or the student will be required to complete the summer service program (fee involved).
  • Seniors please note: You cannot receive your diploma without first completing your service requirement for the year. 
  • All service hours are due by April 30th.
