Mr. Charles Shryock, IV is Assistant Principal at Bishop McNamara High School, and responsible for STEM curriculum and faculty development. Mr. Shryock has been recognized for his work in education by organizations such as Google, IDEO, the WISE Initiative, and in several books including The Power of Teacher Rounds (2014) and Protocols in the Classroom (2018). He has presented nationally on teacher collaboration and innovation for organizations including National Catholic Educational Association, Learning & the Brain, First Lady Michelle Obama's Reach Higher initiative, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
 
As a teacher, he received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Consortium for Teaching Asia, and the American Society of Newspaper Editors. Mr. Shryock earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an Master of Arts in Education Organization and Leadership from the Klingenstein Center of Teachers College, Columbia University.
