Mr. Brian Brower is the Director of Student Activities and the Summer School Principal for Bishop McNamara High School. He has been serving the students of Bishop McNamara since the Fall of 2014, and has been working in Catholic education since the Fall of 2009. He attended the University of Richmond where he earned his B.A. in History. After college, he joined the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Teaching Fellows program at the University of Notre Dame, through which he earned his Master of Education Degree from the University of Notre Dame while teaching Social Studies, coaching the varsity men's soccer team, and serving as the Social Studies Department Chair at Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School in Takoma Park, MD. At Bishop McNamara, Mr. Brower has served on the school's administrative team, formerly as Dean of Programs and Dean of Students for 9th and 10th grades, and currently as moderator of Student Council, AP Coordinator, and coach of Bishop McNamara's Mock Trial team.
