Miguel Davis Jr. is a second year Masters of Fine Arts, concentration in painting, student at Howard University from Washington, D.C. He is also a recent graduate of Howard University c/o ’22 with a Bachelor’s in Political Science.
While pursuing his Masters of Fine Arts, Miguel continued his athletic career and completed his fifth year on Howard University’s Swim and Dive team. In the spring of 2023, Miguel helped the men’s team win their first conference championship in over 30 years. During his time on Howard’s swim team, Miguel had been the team captain for two years, helped the academic and athletic excellence of this team. He has maintained a 3.7 cumulative GPA, been involved in numerous community service opportunities.
Pursuing an art career, Miguel was offered the opportunity to paint two murals in the heart of DC during the height of the Black Lives Matter protests. Additionally, he has done multiple live painting sessions, in which many works of his were either sold or donated to local schools.
