Philosophy
Bishop McNamara High School strives to maintain a proud tradition in athletics. We expect our athletes, coaches, and fans to represent the student body and the Bishop McNamara community by displaying the highest standards of sportsmanship and self-discipline.

Over 35 teams at the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman levels
- 23 student-athletes across 8 different sports sign full or partial athletic scholarships with most of them also receiving academic scholarships
- 45% of the student body participates in our Athletics program

"I think my time at Bishop McNamara really helped me excel to the highest level of my sport. I played a different sport every year - diving, soccer, gymnastics, football, and I joined the track team my senior year. It helped me develop resilience. Even when you're at the bottom, there's more to come."
