Student Support Programs
The St. Joseph’s Program is designed to provide a positive, Catholic, college preparatory, educational, and social experience for a select group of students with diagnosed learning differences. This program offers individualized assistance while maintaining high expectations. It extends and formalizes the support given to Bishop McNamara High School students with learning differences.
The St. Joseph’s Program provides reasonable accommodations in consultation with teachers and guidance counselors.
For an overview of the program, go to St. Joseph Program Brochure.
The St Andre program is designed to support students with intellectual disabilities in an inclusive setting.
The St. Andre program believes that all students deserve opportunities to maximize their academic, social and spiritual potential that supports our mission to educate hearts and minds in a dynamic, inclusive Catholic school community rooted in the Holy Cross tradition.
Project PRIDE works with approximately 25 incoming 9th-grade students each year who present one or more significant factors that may impede academic success. The program instills in each student a drive and determination to overcome any obstacle or happenstance that would deter him or her from being the absolute best student they can be at Bishop McNamara High School.
