Bishop McNamara High School welcomes our parents!

Check out our page Coronavirus Resources for updates on school remote learning, calendar, events, meetings, deadline and all other important information as we navigate this challenging time for our families.

Parents should use the MACCESS Portal for more information, forms, household updates, and more for Parents. We recommend that you log into the portal several times per week.

To log in, go to MACCESS in the upper right corner of any page on the website.

Maccess link on the website
You will be taken to the login page. If you remember your username and password, enter it on this page. If you do not remember your login credentials or if this is your first time logging in, click on Forgot login or First time logging in?
Once you are in the Maccess portal, please take a moment to check your contact information inside Maccess located in the upper right hand corner of the page in the drop down under your name. Select Profile.  Some profiles are missing important phone numbers that we would need in an emergency, and it only takes you a minute to check.

Also know that you have the ability to send and receive messages directly inside of Maccess. To make sure you don’t miss anything sent to you this way by a teacher or counselor, it would benefit you to review your notification settings:

  1. Click your name in the upper right hand corner.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Notifications on the left.
  4. Select how you would like to receive notifications for Messages sent through Maccess. You can turn on E-mail or Text notifications if you prefer. (If you do not check either box, you will continue to see message notifications appear inside Maccess, in the upper right corner of the page.)

The next general meeting of the BMHS Parents' Club will be held on Tuesday, May 11 at 7 o'clock p.m. It's Parent Appreciation Night, and we will be voting for members of our executive board so please join us. May 1, 1-5 p.m., Mother/Son Event ~ It's time for the Parents' Club's annual mother/son event and this year they're looking for teams to compete in The Master Plan: A Mustang Escape Experience. Mother/son teams will use their problem solving skills to beat the clock and solve the mystery. To join this fun outdoor activity, which will be held on the BMHS campus, register your team on SignUpGenius, pay the $30 team registration fee with the MySchoolWallet App, put the date on your calendar and get ready for some fun! Registration closes April 29 and is limited to 25 moms and 25 sons, so act fast before spots fill up.

May 15, 1-5 p.m., Mother/Daughter Event ~ Beauty and personality won't win the crown at this year's annual mother/daughter event, the Ms. & Miss Mustang: Ladies that Laugh Together pageant. Instead, pageant competition rounds will highlight the bonds between our mother/daughter teams. Some "traditional" pageant rounds will be a part of this event, but they will focus on fun. To join the pageant, which will be held outside on the BMHS campus, register your team on SignUpGenius, pay the $30 team registration fee with the MySchoolWallet App, put the date on your calendar and get ready to laugh and smile! Registration closes May 7 and is limited to 25 moms and 25 daughters, so register now to secure your spot.

Note: Please continue to check the BMHS School Calendar for any meeting and event cancellations and postponements, as we continue to follow the State of Maryland's COVID-19 restrictions on the size of social gatherings.

If you have any questions, please contact the Parents Club at and we will be happy to address your concerns.  We look forward to seeing you at all the sessions.
