Two Bishop McNamara winners for the Holy Cross Project Hope contest - Shannon McCreary '18 and Jesseca Holly '19

Bishop McNamara High School is proud to announce that we have TWO winners this year for the Brothers of Holy Cross 2017 Project Hope contest! This year, the Brothers of Holy Cross focused Project Hope on the 250th anniversary of the birth of Rev. Jacques-François Dujarié, who was ordained in secret during the French Revolution and helped lay the foundation for the Holy Cross mission. He risked his life to minister to those who were suffering.

This year, the winners from Bishop McNamara High School were Shannon McCreary '18 for her brilliant essay and Jesseca Holly '19 for her artistic rendering!

Shannon wrote an essay reflecting on her personal experiences and how Fr. Dujarié was a touching figure for her in Holy Cross history. Jesseca utilized her artistic skills and created a prayer card featuring Fr. Dujarié.
