Bishop McNamara High School is participating in Do More 24! Join us on June 2nd for this 24-hour celebration of giving, sponsored by The United Way! The link to our donation site is BMHS DoMore24.
As part of Do More 24, BMHS will be hosting a few games to make the event interesting! Throughout the course of the day, we will be holding a "Clash of the Classes" - which Bishop McNamara and La Reine graduating class can raise the most money for our School? Let's find out!
Can't donate this year? No problem! Help us win money from United Way with our "Selfies for Good" games! Throughout the course of the day, we will kick off a three-hour selfie challenge on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Simply print this Do More 24 sign and use it in your selfie, then be sure to tag us and use the #DoMore24 hashtag! Each image MUST contain a different person to be counted for our total.

Each month the entire school gathers for a Liturgy celebration, which is most often a celebration of the Catholic Mass. Twice a year - once on Ash Wednesday, and once for the Senior Farewell in May - we have a special prayer service led by students.
We also have an optional Mass every school day in Moreau Chapel at 7:15 AM, which is a wonderful way to collect ourselves in prayer before school begins. All people - students, faculty, staff, and parents - are welcome!
We facilitate prayer opportunities throughout the year in Moreau Chapel, including the Rosary, prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours, Bible Study, and Eucharistic Adoration. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on certain Fridays throughout the school year, when possible through the generosity of our priests.
Each school day begins with the entire school community pausing for Morning Prayer, which usually consists of a prayer written by a student Peer Minister being read over the PA by a different Peer Minister. In keeping with Bishop McNamara'a Catholic identity, each class period of the day also begins with a form of prayer led by the teacher.
