Special Service Opportunities
OLQP Soup Kitchen
Junior students are allowed to sign up for one soup kitchen experience with BMHS. A car, driven by a parent volunteer, leaves BMHS at 7:45am to assist at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Soup Kitchen, run by the Missionaries of Charity. Once there, they will help prepare, serve, and clean up after a meal. Students will be back by 11:15am. Our students and parents earn 3 service hours towards their annual requirement. Students should visit the Campus Ministry Office for more information. There are only a limited number of opportunities during the school year.
After-School Help at Mt. Calvary
Freshmen students can sign up to provide homework help at Mt. Calvary Elementary School. McNamara students will work with students in grades 5-8 from 3:45-4:45pm on Mondays. Only a limited number of students are needed each week. Students must sign up in the BMHS Campus Ministry office in order to volunteer.
