The admissions team is happy to help you navigate the exciting but sometimes stressful high school application process!   Some of these documents are PDFs (Portable Document Format) and require the latest version of Adobe Reader which you can download free here.

Admissions Checklist for 2017-18

Application for Admission

Please use Apply Online. If you are unable to submit through the online process, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@bmhs.org .
 

Record Release Form for All Students

Please print two copies of this form. 
Send one copy to BMHS Admissions Office
Submit one copy to the current school.
All supporting documentation must be received in order for an application to be reviewed. Parents are responsible for the insuring all pertinent records are sent by stated deadlines.
 

Evaluation Form

All applicants are required to submit two teacher evaluation forms, one from their current English/Reading teacher and one from their current Math teacher.
Please download these forms, submit them to your child's teacher, and have the teacher send them directly to Bishop McNamara (either via fax, email, or US mail).
 
If you wish to submit other recommendations, you may use this form St Joseph's program application requires a total of four (4) recommendations. 
 
Online registration for the High School Placement Test (HSPT) begins October 2nd.  This test is required for all incoming freshman applicants.  Please register online as soon as possible by visiting the Archdiocese of Washington website. 

 

St. Joseph Program Application

The St. Joseph Program is designed to provide a positive, Catholic, college-preparatory, educational and social experience for a select group of students with learning differences. Be sure to review all program information and procedures at St. Joseph Program.
 

Medical Forms

All medical forms are available in the Parent Maccess (Parent portal). Forms are completed online or completed by the doctor and submitted to the drop box online in the portal.

TADS Information and Instructions

Archdiocese of Washington Financial Aid information and instructions before applying online. Deadline for online-only application is December 3rd.
