Please join the Afromoda Dance Theatre performers who will be traveling to Washington, DC on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 am to 11:30 to perform at the 25th Anniversary of the Black Family Reunion Celebration at the Children's Pavilion on the National Mall.

Ten students from The Stampede (student newspaper) were on NPR's "Talk of the Nation" yesterday, when the guest was US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.

During the show, the student audience asked questions to and were asked questions by Mr. Duncan. "Talk of the Nation" is a live call-in radio show with a weekly audience of over 3.5 million listeners. This was the first student audience on the show in over 9 years.

The Fine Arts Diploma Endorsement (FADE) program is currently taking applications until September 10th. Any current Sophomore or Junior who is interested in the Arts can apply! 

Applications for the FADE Program are now available at the FADE Bulletin Board in the Fine Arts Hall just before you reach Holy Cross Hall. FADE Applications must be filled out, signed and returned to Fine Arts Director Mr. Anthony Conto by Friday, September 10th 2010. No applications will be accepted past 3:30pm on Friday, September 10th.

McNamara will kick-off our recycling program from the first day of school this year. We ask that all faculty, staff, students, families and visitors join with us to make it 100%!  Read the letter below from the recycling team and print out the brochure so you, too, can recycle along with us.
