Meet the Administrative Team of
Bishop McNamara High School

Bishop McNamara High School is a private, Catholic coeducational high school offering its students a challenging college preparatory curriculum and a complete range of athletics and activities. Founded in 1964 as an all male high school, Bishop McNamara accepted females for the first time in 1992. Sponsored by the Brothers of Holy Cross, this Catholic school seeks the development of the whole person. Thus, the academically rigorous program is combined with athletic, artistic, religious and social activities to offer young men and women a well-rounded pathway to success.

Education is the art of helping young people to completeness.

Blessed Brother Andre Bessette to be canonized in Rome on Oct. 17th

Brother Andre Will Become First Saint of the Congregation of Holy Cross

This week our Holy Father, Benedict XVI, held a consistory of all the Cardinals in Rome to obtain their votum on the canonization of Blessed Andre Bessette, C.S.C. The Cardinals affirmed the Pope's decision and so he announced that Brother Andre will be canonized in Rome on October 17, 2010.

Brother Andre's early life was marked by physical frailty, poverty, illiteracy and family tragedy; amidst them all, prayer was his peace and joy.
