Below is an important message from the Teens in Action coordinator, Mrs. Rosemary Pezzuto:
Dear Parents,
As most of you know, Teens in Action here at BMHS sponsors a Driving and Passenger Safety program that promotes healthy decision making for our students and families. They have been recognized locally, regionally and nationally for their programs. As one of the events that they are participating in this fall is the Ford Motors Drive for Life program. As part of that activity our school and families have been invited to participate in the Ride & Drive Event scheduled to kick-off National Teen Driver Safety Week October 17-24, 2010. This event (October 16-17) is a FREE event to all attendees but requires immediate registration as there is very limited space.

The BMHS Dance Team walked away with major awards at the Summer UDA Dance Camp held at UMBC in July. Under the direction of their new coach, 2005 BMHS graduate Katie Cuellar, the Mustang dancers received First Place for their "Home Routine" which is the routine they choreographed and brought with them to the camp. As a team, they received a "Superior Trophy" for earning a very high percentage of Superior Ribbons in individual evaluations. In addition, they received the coveted and highly regarded "Leadership Award." The Leadership Award is presented by the Camp contestants who were asked which team they would most like to be a part of if they could choose any other team besides their own, and the majority wanted to be part of the BMHS Dance Team!
