
BMHS Men's Soccer
The 2009 season proved to be a very successful one for the Bishop McNamara High School Boys Soccer Program. The varsity team finished the season with an overall record of 10-9-5 and a record of 9-7-4 in the WCAC. They finished the season ranked fourth in WCAC by advancing to the semifinal round of this year's playoffs. This year's squad has much to be proud of with the way they carried themselves throughout the season.
The following players received individual accolades for the 2009 season:
- Senior Captain Mayowa Alli: Washington Post All-Met 1st Team, WCAC Player of the Year, WCAC All-Conference First Team, Prince Georges Gazzette All-County First Team , BMHS Most Valuable Player.
- Senior Captain Matt Michael: WCAC All-Conference Third Team, BMHS Coach's Choice Award.
- Senior Jeffrey Meekins: WCAC All-Conference Third Team, BMHS Coach's Choice Award.
- Senior Max Allegro: WCAC All-Conference Third Team
- Senior Captain Greg Carbott: WCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention
- Senior Ryan Leslie: WCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention
- Senior Dan Artin: WCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention
