Bishop McNamara's Mustangs defeat the WCAC champions DeMatha Stags in the Men's Basketball ‘The Rock' summer league title game 56-55.  DeMatha was favored to win but the event turned out to be a "real nail-biting affair between two WCAC rivals," according to Ryan Flood of DCSportsfan.com. Way to go Mustangs!!

Attention Bishop McNamara students:We are excited to announce that Colonel Tim Creamer, BMHS class of 1978 and a NASA Astronaut who has spent the past several months living on the International Space Station is paying a surprise visit to his alma mater next Thursday, July 29th at 10:00 am.

The 44th year reunion of the LaReine Class of 1966 is being held at TheYellowfin Restaurant at 2840 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater, Maryland on September 25, 2010.

Do You Remember.....
• Pastel-colored shirt-waist dresses with the matching belt?
• Clunky black shoes?
• Powder blue blazers and pleated skirts that had to touch the floor when we kneeled?
• Mantillas for mass?
• Gym bloomers?
• Stockings with seams that had to be straight?
......then you were at La Reine in the 60s!

BMHS said goodbye to Mrs. Heather Gossart, our President and CEO for the last 14 years at a reception and program in her honor on June 10, 2010.

Mrs. Gossart has been our President and CEO since 1996. Hundreds gathered to share in this celebration of her great works and dedication to the Bishop McNamara High School community.
