25th Annual BMHS Golf Tournament Winner & Slide Show Print E-mail

The 25th Annual Mustang Cup Golf Tournament in memory of Phil Terry was held on April 30, 2010 at the Potomac Ridge Golf Course. More than 120 alumni, friends, and business partners joined together for a beautiful day of golf and fellowship. Once again sponsored by Teetimes.com, the tournament generated more than $30,000 for the school.

Baseball Coach Larry Prange, along with a team of dedicated, hard working players, has brought the Mustangs to the final week of the regular season with a number of impressive victories, including wins over Wilson, Gonzaga and DeMatha.  Prange is only in his third year at BMHS and is doing all the right things to build a successful program that focuses on a balance of excellence in academics and athletics.

Texting While Driving - Lessons from the Teens in Action Print E-mail

Several of our BMHS students through the Teens In Action program were at Union Station Tuesday, April 27th participating in a driving safety program focusing on the issue of texting while driving.  These students, along with American Idol star Jordan Sparks, took the pledge to stop texting while driving. Three  BMHS students co-present along with their teacher, Mrs. Steeger, a  Genetic Unit in Environmental Science ClassOn Saturday, April 24th, three BMHS students and their teacher, Mrs. Jan Steeger,  co-presented at a Teacher Quality in Biology Program called "Share Our Success" at University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus.
