​On Friday, October 24, Mr. Shane Scott, Founder & CEO of Impruv ED, along with two of his former students Ms. Areeg Hawa and Mr. Leith Jaber, who now attend school and work in the United States, came to Bishop McNamara to speak about the Palestinian/Israeli conflict to Mr. Michael Pozniak's and Mr. Chris Williams' senior Global Studies classes.
​On Tuesday, October 21, seven women, all affiliated with La Reine High School as either alumnae or teachers and now members of the BMHS community, along with BMHS President/CEO Marco Clark '85, headed out for Reading, Pennsylvania to spend the day with former La Reine Principal Sr. Kateri Peake and Sr. Shaun Kathleen Wilson LR '65, along with the other Bernardines at the Motherhouse.

Breana Ross, Class of 2015, has been named a Seminfinalist in the 2015 National Achievement Scholarship Program. Jordan Hinkle, Akosua Johnson, Laken Smothers and Jordan Wells were named Outstanding Participants in the National Achievement Scholarship Program.
